- USCGC GALLATIN (WHEC-721) Restoration of 76mm Passageway This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. This Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 effective 05 April 2004. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 336611 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. Solicitation number HSCG28-06-Q-3HEAH9 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment to accomplish work except as otherwise specified in the scope of work for the repair and preservation of the 76 Passageway 1-64-0-L, Gear Locker 1-68-1-A, Gear Locker 1-68-3-A, Gear Locker 1-70-2-A and Gear Locker 1-68-2-A . The contractor is to utilize proper personal protective equipment IAW OSHA regulations and standards. All work to be accomplished in accordance with applicable Coast Guard References and MLCA Standard Specifications 0000 Gen Req Guide, 0740 Welding and Allied Processes Guide, Haz Mat Guide, 5100 Clean Shipboard Ventilation Systems, 6300 Preserve Ship?s Structures, MLC Standard Spec 0000, MIL-STD-769 Oct 1990, Thermal Insulation Requirements for Machinery and Piping, EB Spec 4013, Coast Guard Drawing 378 FRAME 131-002, Rev F, Main Deck Plating and Framing FWD, Code of Federal Regulations, Coast Guard Drawing 378-FRAM-E 74 2, and COMDINST M10360.3, Coatings and Color Manual.
