Description
The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received. Q:Is this a completely new initiative or has the NIHMedlinePlus magazine already been used to promote these "latest scientific findings"? If so, for how long? A: THIS IS A NEW INITIATIVE. A PILOT ISSUE OF THE MAGAZINE WAS RELEASED THIS SUMMER. Q: Is the "latest scientific findings" a specific list or is it ongoing in nature? A: ONGOING Q. What is the geographic scope of the "strategic public outreach planning and coordination"? A: NATIONWIDE Q: What does the statement "rural and other communities" entail? A. NON-URBAN Q: Regarding point five (5) in the "purpose and task description" section of the solicitation, how much "license" will the contractor have in the "oversight" of design and editorial content? A: CONTRACTOR'S ROLE WILL BE "ADVISORY" IN NATURE Q: What is the percentage breakdown as to effort expended on the production of the publication itself vs. strategic planning and implementation of promotional opportunities?
