- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to procure 50 pint per day low temperature dehumidifier, Brand Name or Equal for DoDDS-P/DDESS-Guam schools utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract on a Full and Open Competition. Specific details and information will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-06-T-2014. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to Tracy, California within 30 days from effective date of award. The solicitation/RFQ will be issued and posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 6 September 2006 to close 10 days after the solicitation issue date. All responsible sources who can provide the brand name or equal may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Responses shall include all information requested in the solicitation/RFQ. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Commercial Items. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/.
