- Description
- The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to negotiate with Career Management International (CMI), Houston, TX, to provide Career Transition Training Services to DARPA Staff. This task includes analysis, assessment, and evaluation of the development of an integrated DARPA Staff transition program focused on providing Career Transition Training services for departing DARPA Staff. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 in that there is a reasonable basis to conclude that (1) the agency's minimum needs can only be satisfied by CMI with its unique capabilities, and (2) award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements for transition planning. Duration of this effort will be 36 months (including two one-year options). No solicitation is available and requests for same will not receive a response; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting a statement of capability to respond to the requirement. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, all capability statements received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 25 and 26.
