- Requirement: The United States Government currently occupies 34,923 rentable square feet of office and related space in a building under lease in Silver Spring, Maryland, that expires June 20, 2013. The Government has a requirement for an additional approximately 12,754 rentable square feet of contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The total rentable space must yield a minimum of 42,937 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The delineated area is Silver Spring, Maryland. Proximity to metrorail is required. The Government is considering whether to expand at the existing location or to relocate to alternative space which can meet the entire space requirement. The Government?s decision regarding whether or not to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that a potential offeror fails to provide specific rental rate information as part of its response to this advertisement, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government?s requirements.
