Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for solicitation W52P1J-05-R-0047. Estimated issue date is 15 September 2006 and estimated closing date is November 15, 2006. Items: (1) 25mm M793 TP-T cartridges, NSN 1305-01-400-3115, quantity 1,037,770 each, (2) 25mm M793 TP-T cartridges, NSN 1305-01-212-5066, quantity, 236,230 each, (3) 25mm M910 TDPS-T cartridges, NSN 1315-01-426-4359, quantity, 689,000 each, (4) 30mm M788 T P Cartridges, NSN 1305-01-268-7274, quantity 1,041,470 each, (5) 25mm M794 Dummy cartridges, NSN 1315-01-396-8360, quantity 25,006 each. The solicitation will contain a 500% option for all items combined over the 5-year life of the contract. This requirement is restricted to US and Canadian firm only. Interested offerors must bid on all items. It is anticipated that two awards will be mad e as a result of the solicitation. First Article tests are required. The M793 and M910 will be procured to performance specifications. The M794 and M788 will be procured to a US Government technical data package (TDP). The M788 TDP is classified Distribution X which means distribution is authorized to US Government agenci es and private individuals or enterprises eligible to obtain export-controlled technical data in accordance with regulations implementing 10 USC 140c. To receive the TDPs all offerors must have a current approved DD Form 2345 on file at the Defense Logist ics Service Center http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/).
