- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to update information in the Description block. NON-PERSONAL SERVICE: Lajes Field is seeking a contractor capable of providing various custodial services such as, but not limited to: general cleaning services; restroom and shower room cleaning services; additional requirements consisting of the fitness center, command section, emergency cleaning services; and, special event cleaning services located on Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. Such services are in support of, but not limited to, the Medical Group, DeCA Commissary, and Base Facilities as identified in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS.) The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services, unless specified as provided by the Government. This contract shall consist of a base year (October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007), and four one-year option periods through September 30, 2011. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561720. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) registered (https://wawf.eb.mil/) to be eligible for award and must provide Representations and Certifications, or submit necessary information with proposals. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 1, 2006 and will include the PWS. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/ammendments to this solicitation.
