Description
Scope of Work Provide a self-contained mobile Computed Tomography Trailer for lease at the client's location at the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, Maine.  The trailer will be available for normal patient scanning for a period of at least four weeks (during removal, site prep and installation of a new CT scanner at Togus), with potential for additional option weeks.  The need for patient scans includes 24/7 availability.  A single-slice, helical, GE unit is preferred (comparable with current capabilities) with an integrated MED-RAD dye injector and onboard printer (prefer Fuji for film compatibility) with full DICOM capability. The lease agreement will include (but is not limited to) the following: 1.                Site planning assistance including proper site location, electrical requirements, telephone, and supplies. 2.                Transportation and Delivery to the Togus VA. 3.                All service and maintenance, including required PM's and emergency service. 4.                Replacement X-Ray tubes. 5.                Necessary applications training for three technologists.  Three-five days - length of time dependent on manufacturer and model of CT provided.  Should include knowledge to solving potential network/connectivity issues. 6.                Removal and transportation form Togus VA at the end of the lease period. 7.                Available power: 480V, 3-phase, 150 Amp service.   Plug compatible with Russell/Stoll DF2504FRAB connector. 8.                Passenger side access to trailer. 9.                Provide 35' minimum umbilical cord for 480V power. 10.           Provide RJ-11 jack inside coach for VA telephone use.   Jack to terminate outside of coach with 35' umbilical cord to connect to VA telephone system. 11.           Provide data connection to CT unit DICOM interface to integrate data flow to VA VistA Imaging system.  Data connection to terminate outside coach with 35' umbilical cord to connect to VA Data system using CAT 5 cable/connector. 12.           Provide CAT 5 data connection inside coach to terminate outside coach with 35' umbilical cord to connect to VA Data System using CAT 5 cable/connector.  Connection needed to install VA-provided computer device in coach.  110v power to be near connection inside coach. 13.           CD/DVD (read/write) capability on system preferred. 14.           Manufacturer, model and configuration should be on approved list of the VA's National Acquisition Center, Silver Spring, MD, which oversees image transmission into VA Imaging System (VistA).
