- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Computer Projects of Illinois, Westmont, IL. The contract will replace and upgrade their proprietary OpenFox Message Switching System installed in 2000 at the ICE field activity in Williston, VT. The system interfaces with national systems such as the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and other specialized protocols specific to the law enforcement community. It provides seamless and secure access to these interfaces regardless of access requirements, message formats and protocols. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
