Description

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) via the National Institute of Drug Abuse intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis using FAR 13.106-3 Simplified acquisition techniques for maintenance contract for a period of 09/21/2006 to 09/20/2007. This is a renewal of the Annual Service Contract for the 1).11.7 Tesla/ 310mm magnet system project#C 4447. The service contract must provide the following: 1). Parts Covered: Electronic and basic cryogenic system directly monitoring and supporting operation of the 11.7T 310mm magnet manufactured by Magnex system. 2). The contractor must provide basic service for the magnet listed in the covered equipment through their employees or through a service contractor.3).Telephone Support Hours 4). Contractor must provide replacement parts. 5). The contractor must provide one scheduled preventative maintenance per visit a year. This Notice is a Request for Quote. Interest parties may identify their interest to this requirement in writing by the posting end date [box #2] of this notice.
