- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Funds are not currently available; however this requirement is included in the FY06 End of Year Spend Plan. Solicitation/reference number is F1B1L16174A100. Solicitation is be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. Solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS 333921 with size standard of 500 employees. CLIN 0001 Material/Freight lift. Material lift shall be floor mounted. Material lift will be intended to move Multi-place aircraft life rafts and survival kits. The size of the load wll be 4?x2?sq. able to lift several loads at a time plus other accessories. Material is intended to be loaded manually on a 1st floor and lifted 12.5? to a mezzanine where it is to be off loaded manually. Max weight capacity will be 2000 lbs. The required platform size for intended use is 5?width x 8? depth. Load/Unload configuration will be a 90 degree configuration. The distance between the ground floor and the top level floor (travel height) will be 12.5 ft. Voltage available to power the lift is 230 volts. If available, a soft-start/soft-stop would be desirable. The height of the material to be moved will be approximatly 48 inches. Ceiling height (above top level) is 149 inches. The lift will pass through an opening in the floor to reach 1st level. Material Lift will be installed indoors. CLIN 0002 Mechanical & Electrical installation. CLIN 0003 Freight.
