Description

This upcoming solicitation will be for a Fixed Price Contract for the purchase of a new or refurbished GE LM 6000 combustion Turbine. This unit will replace an existing unit at Al-Qudas, the removed unit will be refurbished and transported to Burzurgan. The existing Burzurgan unit will be removed and replaced with the refurbished unit. The removed unit will be refurbished and transported to Al-Qudas. The contractor will provide all transportation for the LM 6000 Turbines to and from the overhaul facilities. They will also provide all tools and consumables needed to remove and replace the GE LM 6000 turbines. In addition, the contractor will provide mobilization, demobilization, security and life support for all necessary personnel. The contractor shall complete the work according to a schedule to be agreed upon by the contractor and the Project and Contracting Office (POC). The solicitation will be posted to the Iraqi Business Center website, once released. In order to locate the solicitation, go to the website: http://www.baghdadbusinesscenter.org, and select Tenders. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 14 September 2006.
