- The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Upstate NY (VISN 2) is seeking information on contractors able to provide preventive maintenance on Andover Digital Computer HVAC Control Systems. Requirements include cleaning and operational testing of the central processing unit, emergency battery load testing, and field input/output point verification. Input/output points providing poor operation shall be calibrated or replaced as necessary. Software for the control system will be updated, and archived with the using service. Interpanel connections will be inspected and refrigerated when necessary. Cleaning and fan replacement on the PC workstation hardware will also be performed. Additional services to be provided by the vendor are 4 each; on site service calls per year, software updates, training for users. Twice per year the vendor will provide preventive maintenance and inspections as determined by the VA.
