Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a more detailed solicitation is available on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FEDTEDS) Web Page at http://www.fedteds.gov/ or at https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.VendorLogin?OpenForm&SolicitationNumber=W912EE-06-T-00 54 , which includes exhibits that could not be posted as this site. Offerors should check the FEDTEDS Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Solicitation Number W912EE-06-T-0054 is being issued as a request for q uotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for service disabl ed veterans under NAICS Code 541990 (SIC 7389) with a size standard of $6,500,000. The USACE, Vicksburg District, has a need for one (1) quality assurance inspector (QA) for 12 weeks to perform quality assurance inspections and associated duties for the Gr eenwood Area Office, Upper Delta Project Office at Sardis Lake, near Sardis, Mississippi. Work will typically be performed 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday thru Friday. Occasionally due to the construction contractors work activities, the QA may be required to work in excess of 8 hours per day, or to work on weekends. (Detailed Specifications are available on the FedTeds Website) ALL SERVICES ARE TO BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS. HOURLY RATE INCLUDES ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING QA INSPECTOR WITH TRAVEL, PER DIEM, LODGING, VEHICLE, CELL PHONE, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES.
