Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for C-10998C/A, Mode Selector, Horizontal Situation Indicator/Vertical Situation Indicator(HSI/VSI), NSN 5821-01-454-3550, Honeywell International Inc., Part Number 5050218-9, part of UH-60 Black Hawk He licopter. The current source for this system is Honeywell International Inc., Teterboro, NJ 07608 - 1105, Cage Code 017N4. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnish ing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor t o the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be re quired to warrant that this item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily Flight Certified will be procured. This Market Survey does not obligate the Government to award a cont ract nor does it guarantee any future contract.
