Description
This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20060814. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412, size standard $6.5 Million. The contractor shall provide the following items: One (1) D8 Dozer, or comperable Dozer capable of lifting and breaking coral and rock, delivered to Northwest Field, AAFB, GU by noon (12:00) ChSt (GMT +10) Monday, 28 August 2006 and rented on an as-needed weekly basis for a maximum of 3 weeks. Contractor is responsible for all tools, management, manpower, equipment, etc required to transport Dozer to and from AAFB Northwest Field, GU. Contractor will provide proof of full insurance on the Dozer and maintain for the period of this contract. Dozer will be operated by four (4) Department of Defense employees trained and licenced by the DOD for equipment class.
