Description
This is not a request for proposals/quotes. The General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service in Region 4 is seeking sources to support a requirement for the Engineer Research and Development Center's (ERDC's) Major Shared Resource Center (MSRC) in Vicksburg, MS. No contract(s) will be issued as a result of this notice; however, a bidders list will be compiled from the responses received. In order to submit a bid for this requirement, a firm must be registered in the GSA acquisition management system (ITSS). If you are not currently registered, you may do so by going to https://it-solutions.gsa.gov and following the registration instructions. Please respond with your company's interest in participating in the RFQ process and the name of the ITSS registered POC representing your firm. All responses must be received by 5:00 pm CDT on Wednesday August 30th, 2006. Responses should be issued via email to Eddie Mills at eddie.mills@gsa.gov. The description of the requirement is as follows: 1.0 General The Engineer Research & Development Center?s (ERDC) Major Shared Resource Center (MSRC), in its efforts to improve the capability and function of their primary meeting and conference facility (the ERDC MSRC Collaboratorium), has a new requirement for the provision, installation, system integration, and programming of a complete technology refresh of their current conference system components. 2.0 Requirements 2.1 Equipment (Please quote brand name or equal solution) 1)Qty-2, Sharp 45? (26-511-01) 18) Qty-1, Extron Rack Shelf for DVS-204/VSC-500 (60-190-01) 19) All mounting and assembly hardware and sheathing and cables 2.2 Services Contractor shall quote the complete installation of all products to include: ?Complete system assembly and set up, to include custom fabrication as required and integration of Neutrik 5-pin chassis jack into existing floor boxes. WP extra flex connection cable interfaced to control system and audio matrix from each client designated box to support attendees boundary microphones and for logic remote camera steering and preset recall positioning capability. ?Integration of new system components with the existing expansion capable system to allow additional capabilities to be allowed. ?Complete system programming, to include integration and control of existing AMX equipment into the Crestron control program, support controls of all existing equipment as required, and add the new system components to expand system capabilities and allow for additional capabilities. ?Final system testing and verification services. Beginning the first business day following installation, the Offeror and Government shall begin onsite acceptance test procedures for the system. The acceptance test should, at a minimum, serve to demonstrate that all components of the system can function as an inter-working system, and to verify that the inter-working system will meet minimum performance and functionality requirements described above. ?Training of applicable personnel on new system applications.
