Description: U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM) Acquisition Center, Edgewood Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010-5424 intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with Bell Machi nes, Inc., Baltimore, MD, on the basis of other than full and open competition for specialty machined metal parts and components. These parts and components include machined stainless steel tubes (cartridges), stainless steel springs, clips, screens to ho ld specialized solid support materials, and caps machined from specialized chemically inert polymer. These items are required to support field operations in the use of the Automated Portable Air Sampling System (APAS) warning system, currently deployed in Iraq and elsewhere. The contract period of performance (maximum ordering period) will be five (5) years. Bell Machines owns the technical data rights to these parts and components.
