- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written R equests for Quotation (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Verbal quotations will not be accepted. Firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR registration is a vailable at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation is unrestricted. North American Industrial Classification Standard 339999, Size Standard 500 employees applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination or Origin (bid packages must specify one or the other offered delivery method) for delivery to the Utah Air National Guard Base, 765 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. Requested delivery time shall be 60 days ARO. CLIN 0001: 2 each fall restraint systems for use with the KC-135R aircraft. Provide two complete horizontal fall restraint systems for aircraft hangars at the Utah ANG Base in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hangar sizes are approximately 160 ft wide by 180 feet d eep. The restraint system must cover the upper areas of the aircraft to include over the wings, engines, tail and the fuselage from nose to tail. Aircraft size is approximately 136 feet long, 39 feet high with a wingspan of 131 feet. The system must incl ude multiple harness attachment points, for multiple personnel, with the ability to move around the required areas. Price must include all materials and installation. A site visit will be conducted on 06 September 2006 at 0900 hours at the Utah Air Natio nal Guard Base, 765 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. Due to increased security at DOD facilities only contractors interested in bidding are invited to attend. Contractors must notify Shelley Schrader at 801-245-2105, no later than 24 hours in advance, if they would like to attend the site visit. Failure to do so may result in denial of site/base access. All offers must include specifications of the items quoted. Offerors must include with their quotation: GSA number if applicable, DUNN and B radstreet number, Cage Code, Tax Identification Number, and place (city and state name) where item is manufactured, business size and type, payment terms and completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items or ha ve a current copy available on ORCA (www.orca.bpn.gov).
