- Presolicitation notice is amended as follows: RFQ Solicitation # FA3047-06-TC-261 will be posted on or about 25 Aug 2006. ------------------------ The 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, (San Antonio Texas) intends to solicit and award a contract to provide non-personal Medical Clerks and Records Technicians services for Wilford Hall Medical Center, clinics, and annexes. The contractor shall provide non-personal services for various medical administrative support referred to as Healthcare Worker (HCW) at Military Medical Treatment Facilities in San Antonio TX. The facilities are Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC) at Lackland AFB, also referred to as the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), clinics, annexes and any successor organization of WHMC, if applicable. Contractor personnel shall perform services and support compatible with the medical facility's operating capacity and equipment. Contract will be for a basic period (time of award through 30 Sep 2007), plus 3 option years, of one year each. This is a competitive 8A best value acquisition utilizing simplified procedures authorized by FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This purchase is restricted to 8A contractors. The Small Business standard is $6.5 Million income per year. A Request for Quote for the above services will be posted about 30 Jun 2006. A site visit if applicable will be arranged to take place 11 Jul 2006.
