Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-00522 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-11, effective 05 July, 2006. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 316991 and the small business size standard 500 employees. (v) Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking sources for heavy duty ATA protective cases. These cases will be used to protect essential mission planning equipment used during deployments such as servers, computers, etc. These cases must enable the user to (plug and go) plug into a power source and have a fully functional mission planning station equipped with laptops, printers, hard-drives, and data transfer modules ready within minutes. Inside dimensions - 24?D x 54?H x Standard 19? 4 post rack Wide. Outside dimensions - 21?W x 66?w/wheels 57? wo/Wheels H x 30.5? w/lids 24.5 wo/lids D. Other features ? Removable front lids, removable wheels can be mounted on bottom or top for storage 2 wheels are fixed 2 are on casters. 4 handles on each side, 2 handles on top, and 2 tie downs on each side.
