- This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VAGCVHCS) is seeking bids from SDVOSB Construction firms for construction of a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located adjacent to Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Okaloosa County, Florida. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with this solicitation and the drawings and specifications of VA Project No. 520-316, Construct Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), Eglin AFB, FL. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Building size is approximately 16,700 gross square feet. Cost range for this procurement is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There are four deductive bid alternates as a part of this solicitation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31.0 Million. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation documents will be available on or about July 5, 2006, with a bid due date of August 30, 2006. Solicitation documents and any amendments will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders are advised that it is their responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all amendments. Anticipated time to complete is 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds.
