Description

RESPONSE DATE IS SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to supply and install lights and sirens on 14 emergency fire vehicles. Whelen LED lightbar #SL2RRR and Whelen 100 watt full feature siren to be supplied and installed on all vehicles. Four of the vehicles will also require front Whelen LED Front Flashing Lights, Rear Weldon LED Amber Lower flashers, Backup alarm, Whelen LED Front Side Intersector Lights, and Whelen Rear 4 Light Assembly with LED Stop/Tail & Turn Lights (LED?s mounted in Channel Iron). Installation shall be performed at the following locations: 3 at Chemult Ranger District, 110500 Highway 97 North, Chemult, OR 97731; 1 at Chiloquin Ranger District, 38500 Highway 97 South, Chiloquin, OR 97624; 4 at Klamath Ranger District, 2819 Dahlia St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601; 3 at Bly Ranger District, 61100 Highway 140, Bly, OR 97622; 1 at Lakeview Ranger District, 18049 Highway 395, Lakeview, OR 97630, 2 at Paisley Ranger District, 303 Highway 31, Paisley, OR 97636. Supply and install shall be accomplished between November 1 and December 1, 2006. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using the policies prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Code is 441310 and the small business size standard is not to exceed $6.5 million annual revenue. FAR CLAUSES AND PROVISIONS LISTED BELOW ARE AVAILABLE AT: www.arnet.gov/far/ Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this requisition. Quotations will be evaluated using the evaluation procedures in FAR part 13. Quotations will be evaluated to determine the best value to the government. The following evaluation factors will be used: (1) Past Performance (CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT REFERENCES INCLUDING CONTACT NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF PREVIOUS CONTRACTS FOR SIMILAR INSTALLATIONS IN THE PAST 2 YEARS). (2) Pricing. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. OFFERORS SHALL SUBMIT A COMPLETED COPY WITH THEIR QUOTATION.
