- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DJMS-06-Q-0037 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-11. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423610, size standard 100 employees. The United States Marshals Service intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to Global Technology Systems, Inc. D/B Honeywell Batteries, P.O. Box 847243, Boston, MA 02284-7243 for 2,795 lithium ion batteries. Specifications: 2.5 inch form, 2200 mAh capacity, 7.5 Volt, 2 year warranty. The battery must fit the Motorola Astro Saber handheld radios. CLINS: 1) Pricing 2,795* price. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment to destination. 2314 batteries must be shipped to Landover; MD and 481 batteries must be shipped to Springfield, VA. Interested offerors should include: FOB destination to the locations noted above, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable). The provision Instructions to Offerors Commercial, FAR 52.212-1 applies to this requirement. Evaluation: FAR 52.212-2, the award will be made to the lowest price offeror. Quote: Interested Offerors must include a copy of the battery features, published price list, catalog price or computer page printout showing the price for the above items. include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. These may be obtained via the internet at www.arnet.gov. FAR 52.212-4 is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-- Commercial Items is applicable.
