- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to negotiate a sole source, one-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract to Thales Communications Inc., Clarksburg, MD for sustainment of AN/PRC-148 Multi-Band Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR). The contract will provide for MBITR sustainment support, extended warranties, spare and repair parts and accessories, training, and contractor depot logistics support. The authority cited for this procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Note 22 applies. ALL QUESTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS MUST BE CONDUCTED VIA E-MAIL. THERE WILL BE NO RESPONSE TO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION AND/OR QUESTIONS. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order.
