Description

The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Electronic Journal Back files for 2004 and 2005, to provide electronic access to full-text articles from high-impact, peer-previewed journals in a broad range of geosciences. This resource is essential to locating relevant earth science literature for USGS research projects. Scientists will be able to access these articles 24/7 from their desktops regardless of their geographic location. The USGS intends to contract with American Geophysical Union (AGU) for this product because AGU is the sole distributor for the back files. No solicitation exists for this requirement. Unless The Contracting Officer is contacted by another vendor who believes they can provide the same product/service. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer at spescitani@usgs.gov no later than August 31, 2006 with an affirmative answer.
