- Description: The purpose of this announcement is to conduct further market research prior to issuing a solicitation. An Industry Day is being held by the Contracting Agency identified in this announcement. The Government is seeking interested companies with clearly de fined expertise in multi-tactical data links operations and training. The company should demonstrate expertise in Instructional System Design (ISD) that clearly supports formal classroom instruction, Advanced Distributed Learning and hands on Laboratory T raining. The company must be able to conduct instruction both in garrison and via mobile training teams. The company personnel will be subject to deployment in support of contingencies as part of JICO Support (Team) JST with little to no notice. Due to t he essential and vibrant demand for the continuity of the mission without interruption, the company must demonstrate depth of their technical expertise (Link-16) to meet surge requirements or replace personnel with no disruption in training operations or s upport to combatant commanders. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. The Government intends to set this acquisition aside for Small Business, however Large Business may attend. This will allow for better teaming arrangements if necessary. The Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, 20 September 2006, at the Joint Interope rability Division Building Fort McPherson, Bldg #128. The time for the conference will be 0830 1200 noon. The agenda will include an overview of the requirement and discussion of the contractor approach. The ACA-SRCC-E will entertain one on one discuss ion regarding the requirement with potential offerors. Contractors are encouraged to provide a written capability statement within three business days following the Industry Day. The ACA-SRCC-E asks that not more than three representatives per company att end the event. Please notify the person identified in this announcement of your plans to attend by 31 August 2006.
