Description
Synopsis The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The said contract is for a Key Largo boat meeting all specifications. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, As supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The announcement number is F1T0DE6209A400. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336612 with size standard of 500 employees. The requirement consists of the following item: CLIN 0001, (1 EA) Boat, Key Largo. Model 236 WI Year 2007 Boat. Year 2006/07 Motor, New Yamaha Model F200TXR ? 200 Horsepower. Year 2007 Trailer, Magic Tilt Model TALS2252. 2 Axle. Must have Electronics box and T-Top. Complete package P/N: 236 WI with Motor and Trailer. The Boat must meet all Required Specifications: Length: 23ft +/- 6inches Beam: 8?6? ? 9?6? Deadrise: 18-22 Degrees Draft: 10? to 20? Fuel Capacity: 110-200 gallons Weight: 2800-3800 lbs Additionally, the Boat must meet the have all the following Required Features: - Walk in Console - Self-bailing deck - Battery Compartment - Automatic Bilge Pumps - Navigation Lights - Water Resistant Switch Panel with Circuit Breakers - Stainless Steel Bow and Stern Lights - Through Bolted Cleats - SST rub rail - Leaning Post - Anchor Locker - Full Foam Flotation - Windshield - Minimum 5-yr Hull Warranty - Hydraulic no feedback steering - Electronic throttle control or stated equal - Meets or Exceeds US Coast Guard Standards - Dual Batteries - Canvas T-Top w/ Electronics Box - Lockable electronics box - Horn - Compass - Fuel Water Separator - Four Stroke or equal type motors shall be installed and rigged, minimum 200 HP Honda, Mercury, Johnson, Yamaha or equal - Trailers, dual axle with aluminum I beam frame, heavy gauge aluminum step pads, heavy duty load guides, ribbed rollers with nylon bushings, heavy duty winch and assembly, choice of striping colors, submersible lexan lights or equal, bearing protectors, dual safety chains, galvanized wheels and axle(s), cypress bunks or equal, tongue jack, keel rub strips, 2 yr warranty.
