- The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care Systems, Biloxi, MS intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Siemens Communications. This proposed procurement action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under FAR 603.2. The SpectraLink, LINK 300 Solution is an expansion of the existing telephone system and must be compatible. The equipment requires an interface that is proprietary to Siemens Communications. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to Donna Frazza, Contracting Office (90C), VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care Systems, 400 Veterans Avenue, Bldg 8, Biloxi, MS 39531. Responses received will be evaluated however the determination to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Siemens Communications.
