- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Beaumont, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 50211-0042-6 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE-MEAT. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination , delivery dates will begin October 1, 2006 and end December 31, 2006 (with exact dates shown within the solicitation). Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), 5980 Knauth Road, Beaumont Texas 77705. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, with price and past performance factors considered, price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 31, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most-up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is September 18, 2006. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation, which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
