- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center Services for male and female Federal offenders in Miami, Florida (Within the boundaries of Miami Dade County area.) Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, Residential Reentry Center, Revision 1 - December 2000, Revision 2 - August 2001, Revision 3 - November 2001, Revision 4 - May 2002, Revision 5 - October 2003, Revision 6 - May 2005, Revision 7 - December 2005, Revision 8 - June 2006. An indefinite quantity type contract with a one year base period and four one-year options is anticipated. The minimum number of inmate days for the one year base period is 14,640 (85% males/15% females). The minimum number of inmate days for Option Year 1 is 14,600 (85% males/15% females), Option Year 2 is 14,600 (85% males/15% females), Option Year 3 is 14,600 (85% males/15% females), and Option Year 4 is 14,640 respectively. The maximum number of inmates days for the one year base period is 29,280 (85% males/15% females). The maximum number of inmate days for Option Year 1 is 29,200 (85% males/15% females), Option Year 2 is 29,200 (85% males/15% females), Option Year 3 is 29,200 (85% males/15 % females), and Option Year 4 is 29,280 (85% males/15% females) respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about September 21, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0931-SE will be on or about November 21, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted.
