- Description
- The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia intends to enter into a contract for ?Ram Target Vehicles.? Ram Target Vehicles may or may not be operational and are used to stimulate ambush blockage and are rammed by students driving other vehicles. Specific requirements: (1) Prefer compact cars (approximately 106?) but will accept subcompact cars (approximately 102?) if necessary. (2) All tires and wheels must be functional. Wheels must be mounted with all lug nuts. Tires must be inflated with no leaks. (3) Engine must be in vehicle but need not be operational. (4) Gas tank must be mounted and drained of all fuel with no fuel vapors. (5) All fluids shall be drained from the vehicle to include air conditioner and compressor. (6) Doors, hood and trunk or hatch lid must all be secured. (7) Bumpers, front and rear must be functional. (8) Body parts must be installed securely on the vehicle. Rust through, major damage or dents over 2? x 2? are unacceptable. (9) All suspension components must be functional. (10) Batteries shall be removed from vehicles. (11) Vendor must mark or stencil company name on vehicle to show ownership and class information (provided by Government personnel). (12) Trash shall be removed from the interior and trunk of the vehicle prior to delivery. (13) All windows shall be in place but do not have to be operable. The period of performance is October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. A hard copy of the request for quotation may be requested from the point of contact. NAICS code for this procurement is 441229. Size standard is $6.5 Million. This procurement is set aside for Small Business concerns.
