- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Fogarty International Center (FIC) intends to procure the Professional Services of Stephanie Richard to serve as a research assistant. She will assist in grant writing, and working with other investigators in the epidemiology analysis of primary and secondary data sources. She will work primarily with the Division Director to assist in the programmatic and administrative management of the overall project and others related to work performed by the Division of International Epidemiology and Population Studies. The research is intended to generate co-authored scientific literature to be published in peer reviewed journals. The scope of work is for one year. The position requires the continuation of work on unique datasets of zinc supplementation programs and requires unique education and experience qualifications, such as research that examines connections between chronic diarrhea and malnutrition and other long term sequelae. In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. This solicitation is not a Small Business Set-Aside. It is anticipated that the RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-990 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is September 20, 2006.
