Description

The U.S. Department of Education intends to make a sole source award to Westat located in Rockville, MD, to provide an in-depth analysis of the grant award history for the CSR program. In accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Contracting Officer has determined that only one source would mitigate duplicate work and cost. The Sole Source will also afford the government ample time to complete the requirement without any delays. The period of performance shall be from date of modification through the life of the task order. This sole source will be exercised through a modification to the current task order ED-04-CO-0059/0007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This release is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All information in response to this notification must be submitted in writing to attention of DeShonjla A. Blount, Contract Specialist (Group A).
