Description

The USDA, Food and Nutrition Service, intends to make a sole source award to Booze Allen Hamilton (BAH) to complete implementation and provide support in Phase 3 Pilot of the Agency's new Electronic Disqualified Recipient System (eDRS). BAH developed the System and started Phase 3 to assist States with interfacing eDRS. However, State interface has taken longer then expected and Phase 3 was not completed. To date, 18 of the 52 States are actively transmitting/receiving data directly with the eDRS server; utilizing all of the established communication options. The remaining States must be transitioned to eDRS by 12/31/06. BAH has the System expertise required to bring up the other 34 States and is determined to be the most cost effective and timely method to complete States' transition from the existing DRS to the new eDRS.
