- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Hardware, Software and Support Branch, Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Kana Software, Inc., 181 Constitution Dr., Menlo Park, CA 94025-1106. This acquisition is for the renewal of software maintenance for Kana's IQ Software at DISA Sites. These software licenses and enhancements are proprietary and are protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license and enhancement renewal must request a copy of the solicitation not later than COB 28 Aug 06 via the following address: helen.billhartz@disa.mil. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.*****
