Description

The purpose of this amendment is to modify the specifications and to extend the response date for receipt of quotations. Therfeore, the solicitation is amended as follows: 1. The response date for submission of quotes is hereby extended to 22 August 2006, 3:30 PM EDT. Under the technical specifications for Line Item 0001, delete specifications 1 and 5 and replace with the following in lieu therof: 1. System shall be capable of carrying (pick-and-place movement) sample vials (2 ml up to 20 ml) from one position to another within the 2500 cm2 work area with a ± 0.5 mm repeatability in placement, with stronger consideration for up to a 5,000 cm2 work area. 5. System shall be capable of automated volumetric liquid dispensing into the sample vials of viscous liquids with a viscosity of at least 0.5 Pa s (500 cp) at room temperature with ± 5% repeatability. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
