Description

The Open Skies Treaty (OST) requires calibration targets for testing, certifying, and demonstrating sensor systems such as: optical panoramic and framing cameras; video camera with real-time display; sideways-looking synthetic aperture radar (SAR); and infra-red line-scanning devices (IRLS) to be used onboard United States Government (USG) and other States Parties’ Open Skies aircraft. The USG must be able to demonstrate to other States Parties that sensors installed on-board the USG Open Skies observation aircraft when flying at a given altitude are not capable of gathering information with a resolution greater than that allowed by the treaty NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-JUL-2006).
