Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide linen/laundry service for the Officer's Club, Enlisted Club, Seascapes and the Golf Course, all non-appropiated fund activies, located on MacDill AFB, FL in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations, standards, instructions, commercial practices and as described in the Performance of Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to effeciently and effectively accomplish PWS requirements in a timely manner, and in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the work. Contractor will pick-up soiled linen, uniforms and mats and replace with clean linen, uniforms and mats as ordered on as needed basis. Special oderes at no extra fee may be required on an infrequent basis. The special orders/deliveries will be held to a minimum not to exceed two per month. As part of this contract the contractor must replace (a) Replace all defective items with serviceable items at no cost to the using activity. (b) Reconcile his inventory (what was delivered compared to what he picked-up) on a monthly basis and submit adjustments for shortages within ten (10) working daysafter the end of the month. THe lack of an invoice will be grounds for non-payment if future claims are made. The contractor must inventory upon pick-up and provide the government representative with a copy. Estimated workload factors are in Appendix B. THese amounts are based on historical records and are not guarenteed to be accurate or current.
