- Description
- This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The FAA will review all proposals submitted by 8(a) socially and economically disadvantaged businesses (SEDB) and small businesses. If the FAA determines that any of the 8(a) SEDB respondents can meet the requirement, the FAA will down select among those qualified vendors. If the FAA determines that none of the 8(a) respondents are capable of fulfilling this requirement, but it is determined there are respondents amongst small businesses that can meet the requirement, the FAA will down select among those qualified vendors. Proposals submitted by 8(a) certified businesses must include a copy of the Small Business Administration 8(a) certification letter. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. Small Business Size Standard: $6.0 million. All services are to be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SIR. In accordance with the SIR instructions, proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 Noon (EST) on Monday, August 28, 2006. Also, all questions pertaining to the SIR must be submitted in accordance with applicable SIR instructions. See Section L for further information. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparation or submittal of responses to this SIR announcement.
