- Description
- The U.S. Department of State Office of Acquisition Management intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to Cross Match Technologies, Inc. for ten Cross Match Livescan ID 1000 Fingerprint Systems and installation services. The goal of this purchase is to obtain equipment from Cross Match and they will install it, configure systems, and train our employees on its use. They will also provide end to end testing with FBI. This is an ongoing requirement. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, there is only one source available which meets all the technical specifications and functional requirements. This was verified through market research. This sole source purchase order is required to ensure the integrity, maintenance and compatibility with other systems already installed with in the Department and Federal Government community, worldwide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing and sent by e-mail to POC listed below. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
