- The U.S Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm Fixed-Price contract Motorola, Inc. This proposed contract action is for the purchase of specialized training services for the operation of unique communications-electronics equipment deployed throughout the United States. Customs and Border Protection communications technicians are the target audience for this training. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons that believe they can meet the requirements of this notice may identify their interest and capabilities via email. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however, any proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the required item should email their company's capability information to the point of contact listed below by the closing date. Only email responses will be accepted.
