Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation DE-RQ65-06WG73159 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 335313 and the business size standard is 750 employees or less. COMMERCIAL ITEM SPECIFICATION Disconnect Switches The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Customer Service Region requires: ??? Disconnect Switches Complete item description, specifications and quantities are detailed within the attachments. FOB Destination, specific address/directions will be given upon award. Delivery shall be no earlier than 3/1/2007 and later than 03/29/2007. The supplier shall be responsible for unloading of all materials upon delivery ??? no docks are available. The attached Solicitation document identifies all Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses/provisions that are applicable to this acquisition. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price-related factors. Technical specification compliance and delivery schedule when combined are slightly more important when compared to price and past performance. Contractor shall submit with their offer, 2 (two) copies of product drawings and information data, and seismic qualifications of product offered, in addition to at least 3 (three) references for past performance for the intention of offer evaluation. Offerors should include a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications within the solicitation or complete a copy in the ORCA database https://orca.bpn.gov/. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Written offers and the above required information are due September 7, 2006 by 12:00 PM local time to Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, P.O.
