- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Telecom Functional Support Section (PL8221) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) from Small Business for configuration management, system planning and support services, and other related services to support the Defense Information System Network (DISN) Network Management Support Services ? Global / Recompete (DNMSS-G/R) Associated Support Contract / Recompete (ASC/R). The resulting contract will provide support services associated with network and system management and other related support services for DISA and DOD Military Services and Agencies, and other U.S. Government Departments and Agencies on a global basis. Work performance locations include (but are not limited to): DISA Headquarters and DISN Global Nework Operations Center, Arlington, VA, the National Capital Region (NCR), Washington, D.C., DISA/DISN Program Management Office, Falls Church, VA, DISA/DITCO and DISN Global Network Operations Support Center, Scott AFB, IL, DISA Joint Integration Test Command, Ft. Huachuca, AZ, DISA-CENTCOM, MacDill AFB, FL, Theater Network Operations Centers outside the Continental United States, DISA-EUROPE TNC, Patch Barracks at Stuttgart, GE, DISA Pacific TNC at Wheeler Army Air Field, Wahiawa, HI, DISA-CENT at Manamah, Bahrain, in Southwest Asia. Specific requirements, set forth in Task Orders, will specify CONUS and O-CONUS locations for various DISN network components (Defense Switched Network (DSN), Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Advanced DSN/DRSN Integrated Management Support System, Integrated Network Management System, etc.) Period of Performance is a one (1) year base with four (4) one year option periods. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), firm fixed price with time and materials and cost reimbursable features. The RFP will be posted on or about 01 September 2006 to the World Wide Web at http:www.ditco.disa.mil under ?Contracting Opportunities? under ?Information Technology RFP/RFQ/RFI of the DITCO Homepage. Proposals will be due 60 days after RFP release date. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Oral communications are not acceptable.
