- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Transformational Security, LLC, located at: 6785 Business Parkway, Suite #10, Elkridge, MD 21075 for the acquisition of the following equipments in quantity of 2 each. (1) S4020 -Superman Audio Amplifier, (2) TSSV6-Portable Optical Heads Up Display, (3) TS797L-Ultra Low noise accelerometer, (4) TSR6W-0-J9T2A-6-2M Connector, (5) TSR6W-0J9T2A-15-5M Connector,(6) TS40AC-1/2 Condenser Microphone, (7) TS26AK-1/2 Condenser Preamplifier, (8) TSDPS1-Portable Battery & Microphones, (9) TSL2BNCA-Lemo to BNC Adapter, (10) TSTC2-Carrying Case, (11) TSFC-Field Calibration, (12) TSBNC1M-BNC 1 Meter Cable, (13) SES4-Speech Extraction System Software, Quantity=1, (14) TS151-01-2M-2M Sub-Miniature Microphone, Quantity=4, (15) TS151-01-5M-5M Sub-Miniature Microphone, Quantity=4. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Transformational Security, LLC, under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5 and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Transformational Security, LLC. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. 52.212-1(Jan.2006) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, 52.212-3 (Mar 2005) Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Item, 52.212-4 (Sep. 2005) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5 (Apr. 2006) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Also, the full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at this/these address(es):http://www.access.gpo.gov, and http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334310 and the Size Standard is 750. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is August 30, 2006 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. See Note 22.
