- The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with the University Of South Carolina College Of Nursing, 1601 Green St, Columbia SC, 29208, to provide educational services for a year-long nurse manager leadership certification program, ?Leading from the Middle.? This program course must be taught by an accredited Southeastern college/university that gives the nurse managers an educational leadership certificate. The period of performance for this procurement will be September 11, 2006 through August 31, 2007. The NAICS code for the procurement is 611430 with a size standard of $6 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5588. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Solicitation will be issued on or about August 11, 2006. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at this URL address.
