- DESCRIPTION: NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC) has a requirement for a portable planetarium for use in our educational outreach project. NASA/SSC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following Commercial item/services: Mobile Planetarium. The planetarium must set up within an hour and seat at least 30 people. It will include hardware and software capable of allowing the presentation of customized shows and celestial navigation within the shows. This is a commercial item procurement under a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 611710 and $6.5 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNS06164293Q is on or about Aug 11, 2006 with an anticipated quotation due date of on or about Aug 23, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
