Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT IS COMPETING EXISTING LEASED LOCATION The United States Government is conducting a competition for approximately 9,052 rentable square feet of alternative office and related space within the city limits of Grand Rapids, MI for a succeeding lease action and will relocate if a consideration of the economics involved and other factors are supportive. The BOMA/ANSI Office Area Square Footage must yield a minimum of approximately 7,156 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space. The cost of relocation, including the replacement of furniture, telecommunications, tenant improvements, and above standard alterations, as well as agency mission and other factors, will be considered. The proposed lease would be for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be available for occupancy no later than June 1, 2007. Offers must be submitted by owner(s) or by authorized representatives of the owner(s) only. Space offered must be in a quality, modern, office building and must meet Government requirements for security, fire, life and seismic safety and handicapped accessibility. The geographic boundaries for this office space are: North: Pearl Street NW South: W. Fulton Street East: Division Avenue NE West: Monroe Avenue NW Additional Special Requirements: All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The building must be near inexpensive and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants that are within walking distance. Other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, and banks shall be located within ? mile.
