- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to negotiate a purchase order with Milton H. Bank for 1200 hours of government flight representative (GFR) services at Monterey, CA. These services are being procured on a sole source basis because Mr. Bank was the only source located in the Monterey area who is a rated pilot, a graduate of the Defense Contract Management Agency government flight representative course, and has the required knowledge and experience in aeronautical engineering to perform configuration management of manned and unmanned aircraft for research missions. Service is expected to begin about 1 September 2006 and continue for one year. Commercial procedures will not be used. Note 26 applies to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received within ten days (small purchase procedures are being used) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
