- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a delivery order to the AAR-47 (V)2 Missile Warning System BOA with Alliant TechSystems Inc, Integrated Systems Divison, Clearwater, Florida on a sole source basis for the following efforts: to assess AN/AAR-47 systems effectiveness in high clutter environments and determine potential performance enhancement therein. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant TechSystems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Alliant TechSystems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AAR-47 (V)2 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
